Breath

Tomohide Ikeya was born in Japan. Before he started his career as a photographer assistant in 2000, he has been working as a Chef in an Italian restaurant. He began working as a freelance photographer from 2002. Ikeya’s first water series, ”WAVE” has been awarded 1st place in the “Advertising (self promotion)” category at the International Photography Award in 2007, followed by many other awards like the Prix de la Photography Paris.
The truth is i don't know how her abilities as a chef were like, but i can't remember seeing in a while such an deep, full of expression work, for a long time.
